Working in partnership with BAM Construction and hub West Scotland, Arc-Tech (Scotland) was responsible for the installation of a turnkey Mechanical and Electrical services solution for the NHS Greater Glasgow and City (NHSGGC) operated facility which provides some of the most enhanced services in Scotland for those with functional mental health issues.
Built across two new-build blocks, the internal configuration has been designed as open-plan, conveniently designed around a series of enclosed courtyards aimed at providing outside, yet private, space for patients. A new ward, alongside a series of specialist adult in-patient and wellbeing services, has been set up alongside office and meeting space for staff and visitors.
The mental health facility is the second contract to have been undertaken by Arc-Tech on behalf of the NHS having previously worked with NHS Forth Valley whilst further experience has been gathered working with the St Andrew’s Hospice and the refurbishment of their palliative health facility in Airdrie.
