Open to all architects, engineers, graphic, interior and digital designers the Scottish Design Awards celebrate class-leading work, best practice, sustainability, and innovation in all its forms.
For over a quarter-century, the awards have communicated the best of the best without fear or favour and remain dedicated to surfacing the best talent and projects when the country has never been in greater need of inspiration.
Forming a major part of the Queens Quay Regeneration in West Dunbartonshire, the purpose-built health centre was led by BAM Construct UK in partnership with hub West Scotland and supported by Arc-Tech with a turnkey Mechanical & Electrical services package.
The facility was designed by Anderson Bell Christie and formally opened in late-2021 with enhanced nursing, general practice, social work, podiatry and health services capable of supporting up to 400,000 people via NHSGGC.
The nomination received by the Health Centre (Health Building) is in addition to the Affordable Housing-nominated Bingham Avenue, a 40-home development in Edinburgh, delivered on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council. The development, alongside the 311-home Whitlawburn Regeneration in Cambuslang, is also nominated by the Scottish Home Awards 2022. Both projects have been supported by Arc-Tech via the provision of Renewable services, in the form of solar PV panels, installed on behalf of the main contractor, CCG (Scotland).
Both awards ceremonies are set to take place in June.
