A prestigious event for the Scottish construction industry’s calendar, the awards are set to take place on 30th March 2022 and the CHCC has placed in the Health Care Development of the Year category.
Designed by Anderson Bell Christie, the development forms part of the major regeneration of the former John Brown Shipyard at Queens Quay which has since been transformed into a community hub that includes new education facilities as well as providing residential and care accommodation, both of which have been supported by Arc-Tech (Scotland) over the last 3 years.
Arc-Tech’s involvement in the Health Centre comprised the delivery of a Mechanical and Electrical Services package that formed part of the Main Construction programme that was undertaken by BAM Construct UK.
Led in partnership with hub West Scotland, the facility is now operated by NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and provides valuable health, GP, and various other services for the surrounding community.
The announcement of this year’s finalists comes quickly after the Health Centre’s first industry award after successfully scooping the GIA ‘Healthcare’ Award in November 2022.
