Over a five-year period, Inverclyde Council has embarked on an ambitious £270m programme to improve education facilities throughout the regional area. This has included the refurbishment or extension of existing premises or new build with the aim of creating more and better opportunities for children of all ages.
One such focus has been in early-learning development with the Rainbow Family Centre (Park Farm) the latest to have proposed updates to its existing premises with the new extension comprising an expansion of early years services. Led by Main Contractor CCG, in partnership with hub West Scotland, works on the extension commenced September 2020 and are set to be complete by summer-2021.
For Arc-Tech this represents the fourth contract to have been undertaken as part of this partnership that includes the new build construction of Glenpark Early Learning Centre (Greenock) and St Ninian’s Primary School (Greenock) as well as the refurbishment/ extension to Moorfoot Primary School, also located in Gourock.
