Nathan (20) from Wishaw joined Arc-Tech (Scotland) in 2018 as a trade apprentice where he undertook an electrical installation course with New College Lanarkshire alongside applied learning with the Arc-Tech (Scotland) Electrical Services team.
After completing his course, he is now set to take his FICA (Final Integrated Competence Assessment) alongside his HNC (which he started in September 2022) whilst assuming his recently-appointed role as Project Engineer. Nathan has aspirations to further his qualifications in Electrical Engineering but his day-to-day is very much keeping him on his toes with our very busy Renewables division where he is supporting contracts across the country with such tasks as renewables estimates, designs, scheduling, troubleshooting, and project management for solar PV panel installation and EVCP.
