The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland is a distinguished body responsible for all chartered architects in Scotland and is the foremost Institute in the country dealing with architecture and the built environment.
Their annual awards are one of the most prestigious in Scotland, and no less than two projects which were supported by Arc-Tech’s M&E Services won one of only ten awards in early June. These included Paisley Central Library, a multi-award-winning transformation of retail units in Paisley Town Centre for Renfrewshire Council, supported by a multi-million-pound turnkey M& Services Package, and St Andrew’s Drive Phase 2 & 3 – a residential development of 120 homes for Southside Housing Association, supported by our in-house Renewables division.
The Scottish Home Awards swiftly followed, with St Andrew’s Drive securing a second award alongside the 26-home Bellsmyre Regeneration for Caledonia Housing Association, recognised as Housing Regeneration Development of the Year. This project, along with the 2026 RTPI Excellence and SILVER Scottish Design award-winning Dundashill Regeneration, was supported by our in-house Sprinklers division.
A third residential development known as Pine Place, comprising 28 homes for New Gorbals Housing Association, also won a GOLD Scottish Design Award, recognised for is unique design in the Residential Multi Unit category.
All of the projects to have been recognised this year were led by CCG (Scotland), with Arc-Tech’s in-house division supporting the contractor at every stage of build, offering valuable design and installation expertise to drive both cost and time efficencies, as well as maintaining high-quality standards.
