Four Arc-Tech (Scotland) Projects Reach Scottish Design Awards Finals

The Scottish Design Awards, established in 1998, are one of the country’s most prestigious and long-standing award programmes. Over the past 27 years, the awards have evolved, shining a spotlight on countless brilliant projects, exceptional designs, and extraordinary talents from the design, creative, and architectural sectors.

The awards are due to take place on the 25th of June, and have recognised four Arc-Tech (Scotland) projects across various categories:

• Regeneration and Masterplanning – the 306-home Chestnut Street for Harbour Homes in Granton, and the 92-home, low-carbon Water Row for Govan Housing Association in Glasgow, have each been recognised for their approach to town centre placemaking.
• Affordable Housing – Scotland’s largest Passivhaus-accredited residential development, Platform 3 comprises 90 homes in north Glasgow for West of Scotland Housing Association.
• Residential (Multi-Unit) – Maltings Wynd is the second phase of the mixed-use Dundashill Regeneration Masterplan, comprising 78 homes for sale led by igloo Regeneration.

Each development has been constructed by CCG (Scotland) and supported by Arc-Tech’s in-house M&E Service capabilities, including solar PV panel installations and fire suppression systems.
