Located in Edinburgh, the 60-acre resort is home to Europe’s largest wave pool as well as a range of food and retail premises, 31 luxury lodges and 22 camping pods, SurfSkate – an increasingly popular variation of skateboarding which replicates the experience of surfing a wave in the ocean, on dry land – and wellness treatments.
Arc-Tech supported its delivery through a £6m Mechanical & Electrical Services package on behalf of Malcolm Group. Among those installed is an innovative, air-source heat pump farm – comprising 3, industrial-scale pumps and a water storage and booster system housed within a specially-designed plantroom, solar PV panels, and 41 EV charging points.
Since opening its doors in September 2024, Lost Shore has won multiple awards, including a GOLD Scottish Design Award 2025 for the innovatively designed HUB buildings located around the resort.
