Arc-Tech (Scotland) is a leading provider of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Services and we seek an experienced Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Glasgow.

Salary: DOE
Hours: Full time, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5:00pm, Friday 8.00am to 4:00pm; with additional hours worked as workload requires.
Location: 11 Cambuslang Road, Cambuslang Investment Park, Glasgow G32 8NB
This is a permanent role and does not include home-working.
Key Tasks
- To be a team player and show a willingness to learn all aspects of mechanical and electrical sector
- Diligent and professional with all works & tasks undertaken
- Tracking costs and labour throughout the project
- Carry out full construction take-off, track costs and labour efficiency throughout the project
- Providing timely and accurate CVR submissions each month
- Preparing timing and accuracy of submission of valuation and agreement of certification each month-end
- Preparing timely and accurate assessments/payment certs/payless notices for sub-contractors each month
- Producing timing and accurate cash flow submissions each month
- To ensure the final account is agreed within a specific project timeline
- Ensuring the Company will not be exposed to launch 3rd party claims
- Assist with the procurement of subcontract packages
- To be proactive in seeking guidance from the Commercial Director in areas of development
Experience
- 2-5 years’ experience working in a similar role for an MEP contractor, managing workload and tracking progress is desired
- BSc In Quantity Surveying
- Commercial knowledge of SBCC, NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts
